As part of the celebration of the Lasallian week, our council had an event entitled “Letter Sender”. This activity was open to all the DLSU-D Community where in anyone can write and send love/ hate/ sorry letter to anyone. The officers of the council were the one who sent the letters. That way, we were able to help people who can’t express their thoughts personally to someone.

We believe that writing a letter is one of the best ways to express ones feelings. It’s really sweet when someone wrote you a letter personally instead of receiving a message electronically, right? It’s something that we could hold physically and store it in a box or something for a long long time. The sentimental value of a handwritten letter is so great that it can preserve and improve relationships.

Back in the old days, people communicate through letters. It was quite hard to send letter because of the snail mail process and I think that effort was a plus to what makes writing a letter special. Don’t we miss that old way?
