Last January 30, 2016 my best
friend and I attended a leadership summit at the University Theatre, University
of the Philippines Diliman, Quezon City. The event was really fun. They gave a
lot of freebies though we have to register for their Surf promo. Of course,
there’s no such thing as free lunch! Hahaha. Anyways, when we arrived at the
Theatre, we were given a bag with freebies in it. The place was surrounded with
different booths. These booths give freebies as well but of course they have
conditions before you can claim the freebie. For an example, you have to download
their app on your phone then they will give you a freebie in exchange. Since we
were registered with a surf promo, we were able to get some freebies from
different booths. But not all booths though.
They had Atom Araullo as the host
for the event and they’ve got amazing guest speakers as well. Some of those
amazing guest speakers were Bianca Gonzales, Antoinette Jadaone, Rupert Ambil
II, Ron Baetiong, Angelique Uy and more. Their talks were about creating and
inspiring change in these digital times. Since we all know that in this
generation, we are more into digital stuffs.I was able to learn and enjoy a lot with that leadership summit. I personally think that everyone can contribute to this positive change in their own simple ways. With this, we can inspire each other and make a better world. I hope I could attend more events like this.
